Shelby's Gift April 14, 2008 Dallas, TX.  Children's Medical Center/CCBD Clinic at Children's.
 Dolls, DVD's, bouncy balls, hot wheels, puppets were given to the cancer & blood disorders floor, along with cupcakes topped with Shelby's favorite Jelly Belly's!  It was a joyous celebration of Shelby's 3rd Birthday with the nurses, doctors, social worker and chaplains that took such great care of us throughout Shelby's journey.


Fun & Games. November 1, 2008 McAllen, Texas. First Presbyterian Church.
'Fun & Games' was a two hour event packed with video games,food/drinks and live music. The crowd played Guitar Hero, Madden, Dance Dance Revolution and Twister!  Our yummy food was donated by Chili's Sharyland (party platters) & Pepper's at Uptown McAllen (gourmet pizza's).  Drinks,plates,chips & dips were donated by HEB @ Trenton & Fern stores McAllen. Awesome door prizes were announced throughout the event by drawing from a name jar. All prizes were donated by local businesses and included two $30 MoonBeans coffee cards, a Best Buy card for $50, five $20 Burger King coupon bundles, two Harley Davidson T-shirts and a coupon for a dozen roses from Debbie's Flowers!!

The Light The Night Walk-(The) ShelbyR Foundation Team raised just under $4.000  to donate to research!
We had a huge turnout of supporters who walked with us-thank you!

TSRF Christmas Boxes. December 18, 2008. Children's Medical Center Dallas, TX.
Driscoll Children's Hospital McAllen, TX.
TSRF delivered decorative Christmas boxes to children with cancer in pediatric hospitals .  The boxes are filled with toys, music CD's, books, TSRF wrist bands and a special Christmas ornament. The Christmas Boxes were given in memory of Shelby's flight to God on December 18th.  Homemade goodie boxes were given to nurses, doctors and staff to show our appreciation for their incredible, talented work and love they give to all of the children.

TSRF donated gifts to the clinic (CCBD) and the 10th floor of Children's Medical Center Dallas,TX.
Wii games & controls, toys, books, electronic games, dolls, balls, remote control cars, music CD's, DVD's and more were given to the floor for all the children to have & enjoy.

Shelby's Tea Party.  June 11-14, 2009.
Nation-wide tea party to help fund The ShelbyR Foundation's programs for support, research and awareness.  Hosts will have a tea party in their own homes, churches, tea rooms, etc.. for their friends, children or friends and children! Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will be donated to The ShelbyR Foundation.

Christmas Grants & Christmas Gifts December 2009.
Financial grants of $150.00 were given to six children and their families during the holiday season. Three of the referrals were from Children's Medical Center, Dallas, TX.  and the remaining three were from Edinburg Children's Hospital in Edinburg, TX.
Children on the cancer & blood disorders floor at Children's in Dallas received colorful hand knitted beanies for Christmas, donated by Arlene Luna.  The pediatric oncology floor at Edinburg Children's received Shelby & Cricket totes filled with gifts & a Shelby & Cricket children's book!

Shelby's Gift April 14, 2010
In honor of Shelby's 5th Birthday TSRF collected prizes to benefit Children's Clinic for Cancer & Blood Disorders (Dallas, TX) prize closet.  Shelby loved to pick out her prize after clinic time/treatment. All the prizes were specially selected with love & care & shipped to CCBD.

Karie's Ride Charity Cycling Event April 17, 2010
The event included 21, 31 & 65 mile cycling options.  Everyone was welcome to ride!  Free T-shirts & BBQ were given to the participants and volunteers & there was an awesome raffle at the finish.  85 riders participated and many more were on hand to make donations & share in the fun.

Shelby's Tea Party June 11, 2010  MoonBeans Coffee House in McAllen, TX hosted Shelby's Tea Party 2010!  It was a delightful afternoon of tea, coffee, pastries and friends in Shelby's honor. $1650.00 in donations were raised in two hours!

 Miracle Party Fundraiser September 2010   The ShelbyR Foundation raised money to send cancer survivor Sinjin Andrukates, his Mom Lorna and sister Shannon to the Miracle Party in Denver, Colorado September 18, 2010.  The funds raised paid for three round trip tickets, two night hotel stay at the Sheraton Denver Downtown, and $300 Cash to spend!
